Holi - 2011

Palash trees on the way, earlier holi was played with colors made from these flowers.

Instead of celebrating Holi at home we planned an outing on the same day. Everyone decided to visit Sidhvarkut again, last time chachu was at pune when we visited this place. We thought the place will be lone and on festive  not many people will be plan to visit this place. To our surprise when we reached the place we saw many buses in the parking and the temple was crowded.

Chachu and Daddy got themselves dressed in dhoti and dupatta for pakshaal. I was surprised and smiled seeing them dressed differently. I murmured namo-namo jaap while worshiping. Later I had a bath with dad and chachu in the open. It was fun, they filled a tub full of warm water but I was not in a mood to sit in it. We splashed water on each other and celebrated Holi in a different way.

Meeting Maushis

30' January 2011.

It is for so long I haven't met my little Mumbaiya Maushis. It was by chance while returning back from our Kokan trip, we had a return journey via Mumbai. We all visited Amishu and Pranjal  (aka Nanu) maushi's home. I was meeting them and Anu Nani for the first time. It was a very short visit, since we had a train on same evening. Amishu maushi took us for shopping at borivalli market. Nanu maushi troubled me a lot, I got so irritated on her that I was about to bite her. I loved the teddy made my Amishu maushi, it was lovely.
